I dozed off while playing a game and was dreaming of a lovely memory. I used to gather at my grandma's with the whole extended family every week. One of the "events" we had from time to time was enjoying durian together when it's in season!

Everyone would crowd in the living room and waited for my uncle to chop open the fruits. We would devour a good 20-30 durians before everyone was satisfied! Of course, the husks were not wasted too! The young ones would always select the prettiest slice of husk they could find and drank salt water from it. After quenching our thirst and getting rid of the 'heatiness' we washed our hands under the thorns of the durian husks. After the durian feast, we excitedly ran back to the room to chill and I woke up with a wave of nostalgia sloshing everywhere inside me.

Feeling warm and fuzzy but aching with the longing of gathering with my whole big family again.
