Roaches

I was sitting on the toilet bowl when I saw a brown critter dashed across the floor from the corner of my eye. I freaked out, but I figured that if I didn't move, it wouldn't come near me. I trained my eyes on the cockroach as it inched forward cautiously. Slowly, I drew my legs up as I waited for its next move.

All of a sudden, a second roach dashed past and ran up the wall near the door. It suddenly leaped from the wall and floated towards the ceiling, butt first. I was so confused at this but upon closer inspection, I realised that the cockroach had mutated into a spider-cockroach! My eyes widen in fear and I thought I would be stuck here in the bathroom forever! Lucky for me, my university classmate Anne came along with a ladder. She bravely climbed it and swat the insect. "All done! Now come out and finish the project!" she cooly said and left.

Relieved, I stretched my legs out to wear my pants and "CRUNCH"! I stepped on the forgotten first cockroach...
