Exam Paranoia

I walked into the hall, moving along the walls to find a spot to place my bag. I threw everything on the ground and took out my pencil case. “Shit!” I forgot to change my pencil case to a transparent one as per the exam regulations. Now I have to carry in my stationary without a carrier. I took out three blue pens, one black pen, two mechanical pencils; I didn’t need a highlighter (they were not allowed), a box of lead and an eraser. I had a tendency to drop my eraser I thought to myself, better take a spare. I picked out another before I zipped up my pencil case and stuffed it back into my bag. Perhaps I need another eraser. I took out another yet again but just before I left for my seat, “Ah!” I had a black eraser my sister gave to me. It’s supposed to be better than normal erasers, so I should take that along as well! I added it to the pile and my hand reached into my pencil case for the eraser I used the most often. It felt the most right in my hand so it should be the most comfortable to use for the exam. [End]

I seriously wonder if I ever made it to the exam but I paused to wonder in the middle why did I need so many erasers and how could my tiny pencil case fit them all! Was it the fear of mistakes that prompted this dream?
